I love storytelling in all its forms—books, movies, poetry, songs, plays, and musicals. Basically, if it has a beginning, middle, and end (and a swoon-worthy hero who complicates the plot), I’m all in.
Growing up deep in the heart of Texas, I inherited my mother’s love of reading. One Christmas, Santa brought me a red typewriter. I remember typing on it for hours. The ink was an Oxford blue. Somewhere along the line, my sister encouraged me to write, probably because I was always scribbling in my journal.
Books are like old friends—always there when you need them, and often pair well with coffee. My collection is ever-expanding—so much so that I might need an intervention or, at the very least, more bookshelves. There’s nothing quite like the thrill of browsing in a bookstore and hunting for my next great read. My love language is wrapped up in books (that and sourdough). Because who doesn’t love a good story (or bread and butter)?
Writing is my way of giving back—a love letter to readers like you. I hope my stories make you laugh, swoon, fall in love, and escape into a world of romance and small towns (no passport required—though it’s never a bad idea to keep yours ready!).
