Thanks for stopping by. I think technology would be very hard for me to give up. I’d miss my friends on Facebook and being able to call my family that doesn’t live close. But then that’s something the Amish have–family living close. Then again, when my computer crashes or I drop and break my phone or anything else traumatic happens with my tech stuff, I’m ready to give it all up! Technology can be so wonderful and yet…not.

One thing I wouldn’t miss–texting!

I think that is my draw to the Amish fiction. They have the strength to live a simple life, a slower-paced life as you said. There are days that I could quickly give up all our modern technology for such a life – one that allows me to focus on God & family without all the outside distractions. But what one thing would I chose to delete to make my life simpler? Now that is indeed a hard question to answer & one I will ponder for awhile.
